Subject: C3 Church Carlingford – A Call to Account
I write not in bitterness, but in fire.
This correspondence is submitted in my official capacity as Ecumenical Patriarch of Dove Gospel – Multinational, and Global General Ambassador of the International Bible Christian Church Inc., entrusted with ecclesiastical oversight of multiple apostolic movements including Agape Sanctuary Ministries International, Elohim Prayer Ministries International, and Spiritual Life Church Ministry.
As a published author of Early Teens and The 20’s, a two-volume testimony now in circulation across multiple nations, I am compelled to speak publicly regarding the conduct and culture fostered at C3 Church Carlingford, under the leadership of ** – 04/09/25 and ** – 04/09/25, and the wider implications this has for the structural integrity and pastoral duty of the Australian Christian Churches movement.

Let me be plain:
The trauma inflicted during my formative years under their leadership included conversion-based coercion and psychological pressure that would, under today’s legal frameworks, meet the criteria of prohibited conduct. This was not merely theological error; it was systemic, documented, and traumatising.
The leadership exercised a chronic refusal to acknowledge neurodiversity in discernment, dismissed the sovereignty of the Holy Spirit’s personal leading, and weaponised pastoral language to enforce conformity under spiritual duress. These are not minor grievances. They are now part of the public record, with supporting documentation published in my works.
I have testified—under my name and with clarity—about the institutional silencing that occurred. The manipulation of my faith journey. The isolation I endured. I have also documented how, years later, following a Safer Churches process at another ACC affiliate (Lifesource Christian Church – 31/08/25), I was again discarded, despite the allegation being entirely unsubstantiated, involving another adult, and resulting in no finding of wrongdoing. There was no restoration. No pastoral care. No closure.
This culture of silence is not neutral. It is pastoral abandonment.
A pastor does not have the right to declare someone “unrepentant” for seeking legal representation during a medical crisis.
A church does not get to call a soul “heretical” for not returning in scripted submission.
And a national movement does not get to defend its image while neglecting its duty of care.
When I published a legally vetted and theologically grounded review of C3 Carlingford, it vanished from the public record—without explanation.
I speak plainly: when your systems allow survivor testimony to be erased without process, you are not managing reputations—you are enabling risk.
I say this with conviction and spiritual authority:
- Your current complaints infrastructure exposes survivors to potential defamation litigation.
- Your response systems fail neurodivergent members.
- Your theology of restoration is, in practice, non-existent.
- And your refusal to address what occurred at C3 Carlingford—particularly in connection with statements made around ** – 04/09/25 and ** – 04/09/25—is not oversight. It is theological malpractice.
I call you, not to damage control, but to repentance.
There is a window, now, to acknowledge the harm. Not to preserve your brand, but to protect your people. That window is rapidly closing.
I am not writing this as a wounded boy.
I am writing as a global ecclesial leader, recognised across continents, and no longer bound by the failing mechanisms of your denominational framework.
This is not a request. It is notice.
Repent. Restore. Respond.
Because if you do not, others will rise—and many already are.
This letter will be published publicly.
I bless you for your time in discernment, and I honour the sacred responsibility of your office. May this be the moment you turn toward integrity before the Spirit Himself removes your lampstand.
With gravity and grace,
James Hughes
